A few of our favourite replies

We received 80 entries to win a free BlackBerry over the space of 3 days. Thank you for all your wild and wonderful reasons as to why you wanted to win. Here are a few of our favourite entries.
A give-away each day
The very nice people at BlackBerry gave us five BlackBerry curves to offer to you, our members. It’s not possible to share 5 amongst 80 but we hope you’ll agree it would be a bit cheeky asking for 80 prizes.
So we’ll keep talking to companies in order to keep bringing you more fabulous prizes.
In the meantime, here are some of the entries that particularly made us smile. We have not included names, to protect the senders!
- ‘As a retro fashion retailer who frocks around the clock, I'm always on The Move, so.... "Hello BlackBerry way, I can see you, I do need you!"’
- ‘A blackberry would keep me in touch the thorny issues of my business and be berry helpful’
- ‘I'd love a new Blackberry phone thingy as my office is like a bombsite with bits of paper all over the place, outlook contacts folders bulging and my Sony Ericsson phone sounds terrible! Just things that co-ordinated in one place would be really nice.’
- ‘A BlackBerry smart phone would really help me because I could set up my WordPress blog to create posts from emails, I could compose my blog posts on the go with the BlackBerry, email them into the blog and keep my posting momentum going.’
- ‘I love Blackberry's QWERTY keyboard which to get straight to the point, is vastly superior to the iPhone’s challenging finger twister...’ (This one didn’t bring a smile to San Sharma’s face. He won’t hear a bad word said against those folk at Apple!)
- ‘The new smartphone from Blackberry would help me in my home business because it would give me freedom. Freedom to leave the office to meet clients and prospects, freedom to go on holiday, freedom to have a life! It would give me all this while allowing me to stay connected with everything that matters so I can be confident the sky is not falling down while I’m not holed up in my home office. Please, please, pretty please ;o) ‘
- ‘No more worrying if I'm going to be thrown out of Starbucks for not having enough Frapuccinos - or failing yet again to remember my password (it's 1066 like everyone else's) on those funny public library computers.’
- ‘A Blackberry smartphone would make me look really organised and business-like. In reality I am a disorganised and messy worker who loves making curtains but can't seem to acheive that all important first impression! Surely, with all my information in one place and access to the internet on the move, I would appear to be more efficient and professional. Along with the Blackberry I could do with a complete makeover of me and my workshop please!!!’
- ‘You could possibly save my business and my marriage... Let me explain.??I work from home and my Wife commutes. I'm therefore charged with looking after animals, housework, cleaning, washing, pegging out said washing, getting it in again when it rains, putting it out again when it's stopped...??I'm sorry, I don't want you to cry although it is a sad tale, but I do want you to send me a Blackberry so that at least when I'm off doing the chores my business and/or my marriage won't suffer.??Oh, and did I mention I love gadgets? ;-)’
