Antonia, you recommend the tools to help promote businesses via your DIY PR Service. Would you recommend a Blackberry from Orange to your customers?

Absolutely. I couldn’t be without my Blackberry – and I think more and more of my clients are realising just how useful getting access to your emails on the go can be. Many of the people I work with juggle business and family commitments, and the Blackberry allows you to do just that, managing enquiries as the come in, even if you are out and about with the kids.

You also write books on PR, consult, coach and offer copywriting and editing services. How does your Blackberry help you manage some of the tasks involved in running so many elements of your business?

Staying in touch is vital. In PR, people are often working to tight deadlines so I can respond when needed rather than waiting to get back to the office. As I have so many projects ongoing, I have a number of freelancers and clients who may contact me with questions. Even when I’m out of the office I can respond, ensuring projects stay on track.

How have you found using the Blackberry and the data access package from Orange?

Easy – once I’d set it up, which wasn’t hard, I got the hang of the system quickly, and I’ll be sticking with it in the future.

And how has it made a difference to your business, your lifestyle and the way in which you use technology in both?

I wouldn’t have a business without technology like this, It enables me to work fast and efficiently, wherever I am.
