I'm Suzi, a Digital Consultant, Trainer and Small Business Mentor.
I'm the founder of The Smart Bear which is an ethical website design and development company, started in 2013 in Manchester. Providing impactful websites for small businesses and charities.
I'm a trained developer with art and design qualifications to boot, alongside SEO skills and teaching (adults) qualification.
Not only do we offer website design and development, we also offer SEO and digital marketing help and advice, regularly running courses in these areas, locally and online.
I'm also a Small Business Mentor, working with start-ups launching their own business via a 12 week planning program.

Following a degree in Law and Japanese, Emma joined international accounting firm Arthur Andersen, where she worked in London, Leeds and Manchester offices and set up the firm's Inward Investment practice that attracted overseas companies to locate in the UK.

In 2000, bitten by the dot.com bug, Emma left the firm to start her first business, Techlocate. After 15 months, the company was successfully sold to Tenon plc.

The experience of starting, growing and selling a business from a home base gave Emma the idea for Enterprise Nation which was launched in 2006 as the home business website.

The company has since expanded to become a small business membership community of over 75,000 people who benefit from events and support: online and in person.

Enterprise Nation also presents a campaigning voice to government and the media on behalf of its members.

&lt;p&gt;I am a &lt;strong&gt;chartered certified accountant&lt;/strong&gt;, having earned a respected reputation in the field of accounting, with more than &lt;strong&gt;15 years of experience&lt;/strong&gt; in working with small and medium-sized enterprises.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Having worked with business owners ranging from one-man start-ups to large companies requiring different level of services, I have developed a passion for the profession and I am driven by the success of my clients.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
I have spent many years in business working at boardroom level, holding various positions before being motivated to start my own practice, Makesworth Accountants, where I have blended my technical skills in accounting and tax with my business skills derived from my time in the industry.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
