On this week's Small Business Sessions podcast

The transition period for Britain's exit from the European Union ended on 31 December 2020 so how has Brexit affected the UK's small businesses?

Mike Wilson is an exporting expert and Enterprise Nation adviser who helps small firms with international trade issues. He shares his insights on the common challenges founders face, as well as the opportunities that exporting presents.

Also on the podcast is Philip Salter from The Entrepreneurs Network, a think tank that bridges the gap between entrepreneurs and policymakers. He discusses how the government has helped the UK's small businesses navigate the changes to doing business in the EU, what more should be done, and Brexit's impact on service businesses.
