Richard Bearman is the managing director of small business lending at British Business Bank. With over 20 years of experience in the banking sector, he has developed a real passion for working with and supporting entrepreneurs.

At the British Business Bank, Richard is responsible for the Start Up Loans programme, working with a range of delivery partners across the UK to help start-up businesses access funding. He was previously the UK head of small business at HSBC.
