Over this three-month programme, you’ll explore essential business topics and learn from disability advocates and industry experts.

I&apos;m a <a href=&apos;https://danmartinuk.com/&apos; target=&apos;_self&apos;>freelance content creator and event host</a> who helps small businesses and the organisations that support them. I&apos;m also Enterprise Nation&apos;s Local Leader for Bristol.
I have 20 years of experience as a small business journalist having interviewed hundreds of entrepreneurs from famous names like Sir Richard Branson and Deborah Meaden to the founders behind brand new start-ups.
I&apos;ve worked for a range of leading small business publications and support groups, most recently as head of content at Enterprise Nation where I was responsible for the prolific output of content on the company&apos;s blog and social media. I now freelance for Enterprise Nation as the website&apos;s <a href=&apos;https://www.enterprisenation.com/business-news&apos; target=&apos;_self&apos;>news reporter</a> and as the host of the <a href=&apos;https://www.enterprisenation.com/podcast&apos; target=&apos;_self&apos;>Small Business sessions podcast</a>.
I&apos;m based in Bristol where I run and host regular events with the local small business community in my role as Enterprise Nation&apos;s Local Leader for Bristol. I also have strong connections with other major business organisations in the south west region.
In total, I&apos;ve hosted over 100 events including conferences with an audience of hundreds for international brands like Xero and Facebook and live web chats from inside 10 Downing Street.
With my partner, I co-run <a href=&apos;https://www.lifestyledistrict.co.uk/&apos; target=&apos;_self&apos;>Lifestyle District</a>, a lifestyle blog focused on culture, art, theatre and photography.

I’ve always had an entrepreneurial spirit. I’ve been an angel investor to many where il exchange the use of my skill sets towards their businesses over income and watched many flourish. I’ve always enjoyed growth through the bootstrapping methods and being as resourceful as possible. My greatest interest from my studying in business innovation and entrepreneurship management was social capital, system networks and policies. They are vital indeed.

I specialise in Bid and Proposal Management, Sales, Capture Management (ask me if you don&apos;t know what Capture is!), Key Account Management and can help you get &apos;Bid Ready&quot; if you are interested in competing for part of the 33% (£131bn) of annual Government spend earmarked for Small Business in the UK.
I provide consultancy services to add capacity and capability to your business or I can arrange training in all of the key disciplines where I provide support to help you to learn, develop and grow.
We also provide business intelligence and bid writing services and support for companies looking to compete to win public sector contracts.
To complement this work we also offer training and development opportunities in Capture Management, Sales, Key Account Management, CRM, Bid Management, Bid Writing and will shortly be launching our new Social Value workshops.
On a personal level, I am partnering with Jeremy Brim on his <a href=&apos;https://www.growthignition.co.uk/financial-freedom&apos; target=&apos;_self&apos;>Destination Freedom</a> programme that offers resources and advice in a community setting to help members to achieve financial literacy and freedom.
I&apos;m an experienced entrepreneur having lost one business but subsequently successfully built and sold two others, I&apos;m currently working on this, my fourth and am an investor in <a href=&apos;https://www.justablip.co.uk/&apos; target=&apos;_self&apos;>blip</a>, the new, innovative and specialist small business insurer,
I have been a mentor with the School of Hard Knocks, am Sfedi trained and my passion is for making things work, my personal motto is
‘Aut inveniam viam aut faciam’ which means &apos;I will find a way or make one&apos; and that pretty much sums up my approach to helping my clients
