Creative businesses encouraged to apply for share of £2m in grants

The latest round of grants from Innovate UK's Creative Catalyst programme have opened for applications.

Up to £2m in total is availabe as part of the £30m scheme that supports "the growth of untapped innovative businesses and to increase investment in creative talent".

The aim of the latest round of funding is "to advance the development of collaboration with innovators in the creative industries", with individual grants of between £150,000 and £200,000 available for "products and tools across the creative supply chain which benefit and strengthen the UK creative economy".

To apply, applicants must be a UK micro or small business in the creative industries that is collaborating with other UK businesses. The group must involve at least one business from outside the Greater London area.

As well as the grants, successful applicants will receive business support including acess to workshops.

You can apply here by 11am on 29 January 2025.

More Innovate UK funding

Other Innovate UK funding also currently available includes the smart grants programme, which supports "game changing and commercially viable research and development (R&D) innovations that can significantly impact the UK economy". Applications are open here until 11am on 22 January 2025.

In addition, businesses can apply for innovation loans until 12pm on 8 January.
