  • To grow and maintain your audience on TikTok, it's crucial to have a customer persona to understand what type of content your target audience finds engaging.

  • Attention spans are short, so you want to draw people in quickly by showing the most visually pleasing part of your TikTok first or starting with a punchline.

  • There's no point putting content out there with no thought behind it, even if it's 10 posts a day.

  • Focusing on the quality and value of content is more important than posting frequently, as TikTok's algorithm will push high-quality content through.

  • Having a customer persona is crucial to avoid creating content in spirals and to plan effectively for your target audience.

  • There is no one-size-fits-all approach to posting on TikTok and finding the right timing and frequency depends on understanding and experimenting with your specific audience.

Algorithm and audience engagement

  • Posting user-generated content that encourages users to stitch and duet your videos can really share your content further through the algorithm.
