Launching soon: Digital bootcamp for Wandsworth businesses

We're really excited to be partnering with Wandsworth Borough Council to launch Wandsworth Digital - a free programme that will help small businesses in the London borough get online.

Kicking off on 29 March, the initiative will take the form of a five-day digital bootcamp, with topics designed for existing small businesses with little or no digital presence, and new businesses that want to boost their online profile.

Applications for a place on the programme open today. To be eligible, businesses must be based in the London Borough of Wandsworth, have fewer than 10 employees, and be registered as either a limited company or sole trader.

Enterprise Nation founder Emma Jones said that, over the course of 2020, it's become apparent just how essential digital skills are to small businesses.

"When all your customers are going online, you have to be there too. Founders who have mastered the art of social media, email marketing and website design are those that are trading well," she said.

"We are delighted to be working with Wandsworth Borough Council to ensure digital training and support reaches even more businesses in the borough."

There'll be multiple sessions and speakers each day, with each session ending with a Q&A - giving participants the opportunity to fill any gaps in their knowledge. In addition, participants will:
