Fiona Scott Media Consultancy is run by journalist, tv producer director and media consultant Fiona Scott. Fiona has been a journalist for more than 25 years working in print, radio and television across the south west of the UK - and she still works within the industry today.

She set up her media consultancy as she realised many business owners want to communicate with journalists and to a wider audience but are not sure how to do it; feel it will be too expensive for them; or they simple are not doing anything which is newsworthy. 

Working with associates, many of whom are journalists with a background in print, radio and broadcast, she provides media support, consultancy and training to SMEs, sole traders and inhouse media teams. She regularly gives talks across the UK to encourage business people to think as journalists and to re-assess their business as a journalist would - therefore not wasting time on 'stories' which are little interest. She also talks regularly about the value of communicating  healthily, frequently and appropriately on social media.

Fiona is also a working journalist within her own community in the county of Wiltshire where she writes for local newspapers and magazines on a regular basis. She's also a regular director on the popular day-time BBC tv show Flog It! and runs her own quarterly community magazine for the Wiltshire town of Malmesbury.

Fiona's aim is to work alongside innovative and ambitious business people to be a journalist for them raising the profile of their businesses, and their people, over time in a healthy and consistent manner.
