I'm Sophie and I'm a Director of <a href='https://examscreen.co.uk/' target='_self'>Examscreen</a> along with my husband and co- Director John. Examscreen is a multi award-winning display screen for exam rooms that is currently being used in over 1,500 UK &amp; international schools. John designed it to help him with his day job as an exams officer, and it has grown organically from there. We knew that there really needed to be a clearer and more efficient way of displaying exam information. Once Examscreen started to be used in many schools, we knew the idea had legs as a business and we wanted as many students as possible to benefit from this improvement in exam display.&nbsp;
At Examscreen, we have prioritised reliability, usability and clarity so that we can make sure students have a consistent and familiar experience at a time of great pressure and anxiety. Examscreen takes a lot of the stress out of setting up and running the exam room and ensures that your set up will always be smart and professional for you and your students. For organisations running exams, an annual subscription is just £45 for unlimited usage. It's important to us that Examscreen continues to be very low cost so that it is accessible to all organisations, and students from all backgrounds. We have recently started The Exam Man podcast <a href='https://open.spotify.com/show/18Q9H9BmGmjXidZqaJ6BsF' target='_self'>The Exam Man | Podcast on Spotify</a> bringing our Examscreen community and others insights and musings on all things assessment. It's been hugely successful- we bring in a variety of voices from across exams, education and beyond. With lots of guests, we chat about what we can do to build an even better assessment system for children, schools, families, and employers, as well as offering a light-hearted take on the business of exams. We now both run Examscreen and The Exam Man part time around our other work, and absolutely love seeing the impact and feedback from schools around the world. Some feedback:&nbsp;

BIO- Sophie Gaston
Part of the inaugural cohort of Teach First in 2003, Sophie is a former secondary languages teacher with over 20 years’ experience of working in education at a senior level, both within schools and charities in the UK, France, and India. She has previously been an Assistant Headteacher and is an expert in senior leadership recruitment in the education sector. Sophie is an experienced trustee of children's charities and has previously been a school governor of a large academy in Lancashire. Sophie has presented at several large education conferences, such as researchED and the British Council. She has also contributed to several roundtables for education sector leaders.&nbsp;
