I am an award winning adaptive designer, disability advocate, speaker and writer. I studied fashion design at Istituto Marangoni graduating in 2008. I have spent the past 14 years working as a garment technologist before going freelance in 2017 when I became a start up consultant and technical illustrator and founded Unhidden; a socially responsible universally designed fashion brand for every BODY.&nbsp;&nbsp;
I became disabled in my mid 2o’s and have a variety of gastrointestinal and musculoskeletal conditions/ symptoms from surgeries and complications of her conditions. This is what led to me founding Unhidden, writing my first (self published) book, The Little Book of Ableism, as a guide to help non disabled people learn simple and easy ways to communicate with the community and be accessible in their private and professional lives. I regularly speak about ableism and inclusive design as well as disability representation and depiction in the media.

Deasha Waddup from Social Treats has worked in marketing for over 7 years with extensive experience working internationally in corporate environments and in digital marketing agencies before founding Social Treats. 
Deasha is accredited by Facebook as an Associate and now trains small businesses with in-person events as part of the #shemeansbusiness Facebook Initiative in partnership with Enterprise Nation. 
Deasha is an approved ManyChat Agency Partner; in 2019 she was shortlisted for Freelance Social media Manager of the year and in 2020 has become an international best selling author.

Deasha has helped businesses scale to 6 and 7 figures since launching Social Treats in 2016. Using organic social media strategies, she has perfected a system that she now teaches through her coaching programs.

Deasha has experience using messenger bots and lead ads to drive leads for high ticket items in industries spanning from wellness to real estate. She has worked with clients to build webinar funnels, membership funnels and even affiliate marketing funnels all utilising organic strategies.

Deasha enjoys working remotely from any location in the world and believes everyone should have the same freedom and flexibility in their life. That is why she is passionate about helping other mission-driven women to consciously create a life they choose.

Let me introduce myself.

I've been living in a world of strategic creativity for over 23 years (so far) and have worked both client-side and agency-side, as well as operated a successful agency myself, which means over the last couple of decades, I have been at the table having strategic conversations with 1000's of businesses and leaders, helping them apply creativity so they might grow themselves and their organisations.

Today the 'day job' is heading up the UK chapter of The Spill Teem®, a global
Design Consultancy who work with organizations worldwide to help shift their thinking culture.

The Spill Teem® have an extensive background in service, product, communication and behavioural design and collectively carry 30+ years of human-centred Design experience, business strategy, and cultural change work.

My work also regularly involves delivering keynotes at events, speaking to teams, at leadership groups, masterminds and retreats. I also deliver lectures, seminars and provide training when required on the topic of brand, strategy, storytelling and human-centred design.
