Hello, I’m Eva and I’m a Spanish translator and interpreter from Almería (Spain), currently living in Cheltenham (UK).
My early passion for different languages and cultures led me to graduate in 2008 with a BA in Translation and Interpreting, thanks to which I became a sworn translator appointed by the Spanish Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
I spent the early years of my career working in different translation companies in the UK, taking on different roles ranging from project management and translation to business development and office management. I also hold a postgraduate certificate in Management Studies.
In 2014 I founded Genuine Translations as a multilingual translation company, covering up to 40 languages and working with wonderful translators and a variety of companies from different sectors.
Ten years later, I have decided to step back and focus on English-Spanish translation and interpreting, helping individuals and companies thrive in Spain and Latin America.
My specialisations are legal and marketing translations, and I’m currently preparing to take the Diploma in Public Services Interpreting (DPSI) exam so that I can extend my work to the British public sector and help out at courts, police stations and hospitals.

&lt;p&gt;I&amp;rsquo;ve worked in marketing for over 15 years and I love it! No two days are the same and it&amp;rsquo;s this variety that makes marketing so special for me.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;The last company I worked for, Constant Contact, gave me the opportunity to work with 100s of small businesses across the UK. It was the best three years I&amp;rsquo;ve had in a job! The business owners I met were (and still are) incredible. And there&amp;rsquo;s a brilliant community for small businesses. You could say I was bitten by the small business bug.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;In 2016, I was made redundant. I knew I still wanted to work with small businesses, so when my husband said I should start my own business, I didn&amp;rsquo;t need a huge amount of convincing. After all, I loved sharing marketing tips with small business owners, and this way, I could do it all the time. How could I not love that?&lt;/p&gt;
