&lt;p&gt;Established in 2011, we are an established full-service, multi-disciplinary human resource management consultancy. Founded by Emma del Torto, a non-practising solicitor with specific expertise in employment law, we now offer outsourced expertise in employment law, human resources, learning &amp;amp; development and health &amp;amp; safety. The team has grown steadily and now we now have a team of 10 and a diverse national base of 250 clients.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Our clients are a mixture of SMEs, private and public sector organisations, charities and micro-businesses. This cross sector experience gives us a unique ability to cross pollinate best&amp;nbsp; practice between sectors and organisations and to be more innovative and creative with our solutions.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Our services range from remote, help-desk style support through our bespoke HR portal, phone and e-mail to providing the on-site, in-house human resources department for our clients. Our services range from purely providing reactive solutions, to being the trusted advisors, scoping and leading change projects within our client organisations. We have the ear of decision makers. We have the HR Director seat at the board of many of our clients, in order to provide strategic advice and support.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;We believe in resourcing appropriately and this means that each client has an HR Business Partner who is the main point of contact. That HR Business Partner is supported internally by us with HR administrative support and also supported by internal legal expertise. Our internal teams collaborate closely with each other to reach the best solutions for our clients&amp;rsquo; issues.&lt;/p&gt;

Originally from London, Emma came to Wales to attend law school at Cardiff University in 1993 before qualifying as a solicitor in 1998, specialising in employment law. She also holds a Master’s degree in employment law.

With over 20 years’ experience in employment law and HR, Emma established Effective HRM in 2011 with a mission of becoming the UK’s most cost-effective, personable and valuable HR service. Nine years on and she still feels passionately about her vision of creating a nation full of positive, proactive and empowered employers.

Straight talking, pragmatic and a great team player, Emma focusses on delivering expert legal advice, combined with the preventative good practice of HR management and commercial realism. She’s particularly talented at getting to grips with complex issues quickly and resolving problems with a collaborative and solution focussed approach.

Always striving for the next achievement, Emma is naturally creative and enjoys sewing, knitting and crocheting. She is also a keen swimmer. In fact, she’s set herself the rather ridiculous challenge of swimming in all 130 lidos in the UK. She’s a reluctant hill or coastal path walker but she does say that the company of good friends helps to take some of the pain away.
