Myself and my husband Andy started We Are Bert Ltd in February 2023. Since the summer of 2024 we have evolved from being a business selling robot sculptures to a children's brand called Weebert's World. We have never had our own business before and neither of us has any idea about marketing. We are creatives rather than sales people and are what we would call 'Olderpreneurs'! Andy is ex military and a helicopter engineer, I worked in the public sector for 16 years.
Andy started making robot sculptures as a way of improving his mental health. I named them The Berts and have started to write children's stories about them. I now have 2 children's books about Weebert the robot published and we are looking to get Weebert's World on television as a stop motion animation.&nbsp;
Weebert’s World is where scrap meets storytelling and imagination takes flight! With a stop-motion series in the works and school visits that spark creativity and curiosity, Weebert’s World isn’t just a brand — it’s a movement to inspire the innovators of tomorrow, one joyful scrap-built robot at a time.
