Job openings

We're hiring! Could you be the adviser community manager at Enterprise Nation?

Summary of role

The Enterprise Nation platform will attract half a million small business visitors in 2021. One of our key jobs is to quickly understand the support required by each business and then connect them to a trusted adviser.

The platform is home to a lively community of thousands of advisers and your role will be to manage and grow the adviser community on Enterprise Nation, and to deliver adviser related programmes.

Managing the adviser community

This element of the role involves:

  • Producing a weekly newsletter for the adviser community that includes posts, news and events from the Enterprise Nation platform that will interest the adviser community
  • Producing a monthly adviser insights PDF that shares with advisers the most common search terms on the platform and the price small businesses are prepared to pay for services and advice
  • Hosting a weekly Lunch and Learn event with an adviser from the platform
  • Hosting quarterly events that introduce new platform features to the adviser community
  • Ensuring there is sufficient content on the platform that will be valuable for advisers
  • Encourage advisers to upload their own content and events to the platform

Growing the adviser community

To ensure we can connect a high volume of businesses to advice, we’d like to keep growing the size of the community. This element of the role involves:

  • Looking at the current level of advisers on the platform and categories in which we have gaps e.g. experts in IP/bid writing/manufacturing, which are services being requested on the platform yet a lack of advisers to service this demand and then plugging that gap
  • Working with the marketing team on adviser recruitment exercises – such as the recent adviser video we produced which you can see here
  • Reporting to the business on the current number of advisers at weekly stand-up

Programmes for the adviser community

Enterprise Nation is about to launch its popular and annual Top 50 Advisers competition which is a national search for the UK’s top advisers behind Britain’s great businesses. You will manage this programme, with support from the rest of the team, as well as an event series connecting small businesses to advisers in an event format.

In undertaking this role, you will become close to the adviser community and that will lead to insight we’d like to gather on how else we can help advisers connect with small businesses and build their own business. This insight will be fed into the product team so new features can be introduced and to the commercial team so we can build new programmes around adviser insight.

You will ideally have experience of previously managing a community and running communications, programmes and events for that community.

Salary; £40,000 per annum
